From Pastor Kathy Nunn
Every Christian must spend time in God's word in order to gain clarity regarding His character and will. This, however, should not be a religious exercise or self imposed requirement in order to read through the Bible in accordance with the "one year" program. Time in the Word is like a reading group with just you and God. You read, and He clarifies and expands your spiritual understanding. If we desire to be mature Christians, then we must spend time with Him, learning to hear His voice and developing that relationship that holds us secure when trials come.
I love spending time in the Word with God and I hope that what I share on by blog, "A Trumpet of Truth", will inspire you to spend more time with Him. I pray that what I have received in those quiet times will bless you by providing deeper understanding of the scripture and provoke you to contemplate and establish a clear point of view regarding those difficult issues facing the body of Christ. Please feel free to comment on any of the lessons or topics I address.
God bless you as you pursue Him and His truth.
