It's amazing the first time you hear the Holy Spirit speak in such a still small voice in your heart. There is such a peace and love that surrounds your heart to know that the awesome, reverent, and powerful God would take time just to speak with you personally.
I feel as though we often miss this appointment with God because we selfishly spend our time on ourselves, our needs and wants, or others. We have to remember that God created us for His enjoyment not for our own. We need to picture ourselves walking in the garden and talking with Him. Remember LOVE is not about religion, its about relationship.
Jesus said to come to Him as little children. Then just as children let us run to our Father to set at His feet, listen for His voice, and speak with Him.
